Mumbai:

In the Gram Panchayat elections held in Maharashtra, BJP has claimed to win the maximum number of seats.

After this, senior BJP leader and Maharashtra Deputy Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis has taken a jibe at the bad defeat of Shiv Sena President Uddhav Thackeray.

He termed Shiv Sena as Shillak Sena i.e. the remaining army.

Fadnavis claimed that the Eknath Shinde faction is the real Shiv Sena and the BJP-Shiv Sena alliance has got the blessings of the people in the elections.

In fact, Maharashtra BJP chief spokesperson Keshav Upadhyay has claimed by tweeting that in the Gram Panchayat elections, BJP got 274, Shiv Sena Shinde faction 41, Uddhav Thackeray faction 12, Congress 37 and NCP got 62 seats.

If we look at the figures released by BJP, Uddhav Thackeray's Shiv Sena has got the least number of seats.

At the same time, the Eknath Shinde faction has got more seats than the Congress.

However, let us tell you that the Gram Panchayat elections are not fought on the symbol of the party.
