New Delhi:

The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) on Sunday hit back at the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) for calling Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal "self-conscious".

The AAP said that instead of diverting attention from the issue, the BJP should answer the questions raised by Kejriwal.

AAP's national spokesperson and Rajya Sabha member Sanjay Singh attacked the BJP at a press conference here, saying, "Don't talk about here and there.

Answer the questions."

Sanjay Singh alleged that the BJP has so far "purchased" 285 MLAs of other parties under "Operation Lotus" and brought down governments in various states.

"BJP should tell the country how much black money it spent in breaking, kidnapping and buying 285 MLAs of other parties across the country," he said.

Sanjay Singh said that "Operation Lotus" should be investigated by CBI and ED.

Arvind Kejriwal had said that the BJP is targeting AAP leaders out of fear of defeat in the upcoming elections in Gujarat.

On this, the Chief Minister of Delhi was termed as complacent by the BJP.
