A strong storm also broke out in Gotse Delchev yesterday.

A hurricane-like wind knocked down dozens of trees, with the city park being the most affected, BNT reported.

Pomorie remains without electricity for at least 24 hours, kilometer-long queues on the road to Burgas

When the trees fell, they snapped electrical cables, and electricity was cut off in some places.

Fortunately, no one was injured.

Power supply, which has been interrupted in several localities, is expected to be restored by noon.

"The damages are uprooted trees, there are fallen pots and roof tiles in many places," the mayor of Gotse Delchev, Vladimir Moskov, told BNT.

Throughout the day, Civil Defense crews and municipal workers will remain on site at the city park to clear avenues of fallen branches and trees.
