Deputies of the Kyrgyz Parliament will continue their extraordinary session on Sunday and will discuss the situation on the border with Tajikistan.

APA reports that the press service of the Supreme Legislative Body of Kyrgyzstan reported on this.

"Today, on September 18, at 15:00 (local time), the extraordinary session of the Jogorku Kenesh (Supreme Council) of the Kyrgyz Republic will continue behind closed doors," the information said.

It should be noted that Talant Mamytov, Speaker of the Kyrgyz Parliament, announced an extraordinary meeting on September 16 due to the escalation of the situation on the Kyrgyz-Tajikistan border.

The meeting was held behind closed doors.

As a result, it was decided to announce a break in order not to repeat the procedure of convening the next extraordinary meeting.
