One of the most popular Bulgarian footballers, Ivelin Popov, joined the team of stars who stood behind the "Choose life" initiative #СприНавреме.

It started on the International Youth Day - August 12 and was provoked by the frequent accidents on the road, many of which were fatal.

The initiative is also directed against the abuse of alcohol and narcotic substances.

The campaign is cross-partisan and aims to engage as much public attention and civic support as possible.

Exactly one month after the official announcement of the campaign, the stars of Bulgarian football Dimitar Berbatov, Stiliyan Petrov and Hristo Yovov joined it.

They supported "Choose Life" by posing in a t-shirt with the initiative's logo.

Legend Stanimir Stoilov-Murray also became an ambassador for Choose Life, calling for more attention on the road.

The boys from the junior national team of Bulgaria under 17 and 19 years went out on the field wearing t-shirts of the initiative and recorded individual messages with which they made their appeal: Choose life!

The teams of Botev (Vratsa) and Spartak (Varna), as well as popular sports stars from Vratsa and the region also supported the "Choose Life" campaign.

The footballers from Marek and Pirin (GD) followed their example.

The first ambassadors of the campaign calling for an end to road aggression were big stars of Bulgarian sports such as Bozhidar Temelkov, Ivaylo Ivanov, Yordan Minchev, Teodor Salparov, Vlado Stoyanov, Hristo Hristov, Madeleine Radukanova, Reneta Kamberova and Stanimira Petrova.

They supported the initiative "Choose life!" #StopTime by sending their messages to young people in a joint video.
