Chandigarh:

Amidst the ongoing protest by the girl students in Chandigarh University, the Punjab Police has arrested a youth named Sunny Mehta.

According to the police, the accused girl had sent MMS to this young man.

A SIT has also been constituted on behalf of the Punjab Police under the leadership of a senior IPS officer. Acting on the request, the accused has been caught.

The university administration has issued a statement regarding the MMS leak case in Chandigarh University.

It has been said in this statement that not only one girl's video of many girls living in university hostels has been leaked.

Please tell that the police is currently investigating in this matter.   


Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann has assured that the matter will be investigated with utmost seriousness.

Also, strict action will be taken against the culprits.

The National Commission for Women has also issued a statement regarding this matter.

It has been told that he has taken this whole matter very seriously.

The Chairperson of the Women's Commission Rekha Sharma has also written a letter to the DGP of Punjab regarding the investigation of the matter.
