Elvin Abdiyev, a resident of Shirvan city, was detained by the officers of the State Traffic Police Department of the Shirvan City Police Department for driving a car without relevant documents, the vehicle was placed in a temporary parking lot, and a protocol was drawn up against the driver.

APA was informed about this by the Ministry of Internal Affairs.

After that, the driver's brother, a participant in the Patriotic War, Elmir Abdiyev, came to the Shirvan City Police Department and made illegal demands to release the car and cancel the protocol.

Employees of the department held explanatory conversations with him and informed him that action was taken in accordance with the law.

However, E. Abdiyev tried to set himself on fire in the city around 20:00.

His attempt was prevented by the police officers serving in that area, and he was immediately taken to the city hospital with the help of the department staff.

Here, he was given the necessary assistance and is currently being treated.
