Bollywood disco numbers "Jimmy Jimmy" and "I'm a disco dancer" were played at a party for delegates at the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) regional summit in Samarkand, Uzbekistan.

The conference concluded on Friday.

A viral video prominently featured three singers singing a few lines of two songs with a woman dressed in black formal clothes.

Both these songs were composed by late musician Bappi Lahiri for the film Disco Dancer in 1982.

Actor Mithun Chakraborty got a lot of popularity from this film.

Delegates from different countries danced on these songs.

Some even went to sing together.

Those moments ended as a tribute to Bappi Lahiri.

Bappi Lahiri passed away earlier this year.

After two Hindi songs at the party, they were sung both English songs inspired by which both Hindi songs have been composed.

After this in the video, the singer starts singing the song in another language and the video gets cut.

It was not immediately clear which leaders or representatives were present in this party.

Some social media users said that the video makes it clear how Hindi movies and songs are popular all over the world.

Rahul Anand said on Twitter, "The former USSR states are a big fan of Mithun Chakraborty and Raj Kapoor. I went to Armenia in July. My tour guide knew both those songs of 'Disco Dancer' very well. "

Another Twitter user DP Mishra said, "These songs are popular in all Central Asian countries and in Russia."

In the summit, Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Russian President Vladimir Putin on serious issues.

"Your Excellency, I know today is not the time for war," PM Modi said in a one-on-one meeting with Vladimir Putin for the first time since Moscow's army attacked Ukraine.

PM Modi's remarks came a day after President Putin admitted that China-Russia's key ally is "concerned" over the conflict in Ukraine.
