Rahul Gandhi has targeted the BJP government for the increase in the unemployment rate in the country.

Senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi targeted the BJP and the RSS over the rise in unemployment rate in the country and alleged that the NDA government at the Center was only interested in protecting some industrialists of the country. Addressing a huge public meeting, Gandhi said that the second richest person in the world is close to a leader of this country.

He said, "Let me ask you a simple question.

If India has the second richest person in the world, why do we have one of the highest unemployment rates?… Millions of Indians are unemployed, because the government is only interested in saving a few industrialists.

The Congress leader said lakhs of people are losing jobs due to disinvestment and privatization of public sector companies.

Gandhi said, "Who are taking over these public sector undertakings?

They are going to the same five or six industrialists of the country who are taking advantage of this government.

The evening leg of the yatra started from Chavra Bus Stand in which Gandhi was accompanied by thousands of people.

They went to Karunagapalli.

In the morning this journey started from Polathodu.

The Congress's 3,570-km-long march began on September 7 from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu and will end in Jammu and Kashmir.
