In Hazaribagh, Jharkhand, the workers of the finance company, who came to pick up the farmer's tractor forcibly, crushed the pregnant daughter of a differently-abled farmer with a vehicle for not repaying the tractor loan installment on time.

Due to this he died on the spot.

According to Hazaribagh Senior Superintendent of Police Manoj Ratan Chauth, an FIR has been registered against four people, including the local manager of the finance company, in this connection. 

A special investigation team has been constituted under the leadership of Deputy Superintendent of Police Headquarters Rajiv Kumar to arrest all the accused.

This team is conducting raids for his arrest. 

The fourth said that Mithilesh Mehta, a differently-abled farmer of Bariath under Ichak police station area, had received a message from Mahindra Finance Company that he must deposit the outstanding installments of one lakh thirty thousand rupees of the company's loan taken to buy tractor by Thursday, But when he could not do so, the agents and officials of the finance company reached his house on Friday and picked up his tractor.

He told that when he started taking the farmer's tractor, the farmer ran after him and immediately told to pay the outstanding amount of one lakh, twenty thousand but the employees of the finance company did not agree and started taking his tractor forcibly.

He told that the 27-year-old daughter of a differently-abled farmer, Monika, ran to stop them, but she was hit by the vehicle, killing her on the spot.

After the incident, the angry villagers demonstrated by placing the dead body and demanded immediate compensation of Rs 10 lakh to the family and arrest of the employees of the finance company. 

Later, Mahindra Finance Company Managing Director Anish Shah issued a statement expressing regret over the incident and said that the company is fully with the victim's family and will provide all possible help in the investigation of the incident.
