"Such attacks against civilians are unthinkable and disgusting," Czech Foreign Minister Jan Lipavsky said on Twitter.

"We must not turn a blind eye to what happened. We stand for all war criminals to be punished," he added.

The call was made after the discovery of the mass grave with about 450 bodies near the town of Izyum, noted France Presse, quoted by BTA.

Ukrainian forces recaptured this settlement in eastern Ukraine from the Russians.

Ukrainian authorities report that some of the bodies showed signs of torture.
