Ukraine claims it has evidence of a mass grave in the northeastern city of Izyum, which was recently liberated from Russian occupation.

According to local authorities, 450 bodies were buried there, most of them civilians.

Meanwhile, the Ukrainian president announced that they have regained almost the entire Kharkiv region.

Russian-backed separatists say the Ukrainian military has shelled government buildings in the city of Kherson.

Moscow reported that senior magistrates were killed in an explosion in the Luhansk region.

Details of the mass grave in Izyum were reported by the Ukrainian Center for Strategic Communications, which said some of the bodies had been buried soon.

It is not yet clear what happened to the victims, but some reports suggest that many of them may have died in the bombing and lack of access to health care.

Meanwhile, Kharkiv police chief Igor Klimenko announced that 10 torture sites had been found.

They were in territories recaptured by Russian forces in the eastern part of the country.

And Russian-backed separatists in the southern Ukrainian city of Kherson said Ukrainian forces bombed government buildings today, killing at least one person and wounding others.

The strike was carried out by Hymars missiles, the Russian side claims.
