At the end of each school year, the state health control bodies evaluate the state of the schools' material base and, if necessary, issue prescriptions.

At the end of August and the beginning of September, an inspection will be carried out on the implementation of the prescribed measures, announced the press center of the Ministry of Health.

As a result of the control carried out, some of the educational institutions have been issued prescriptions to bring the material base in line with the health requirements laid down in the regulations.

In the regions of Yambol, Blagoevgrad, Veliko Tarnovo, Pernik, Haskovo, Gabrovo, Stara Zagora, in some educational institutions, the repair works will continue even after the beginning of the school year.

In order to protect the health of the students, the relevant RZI have issued additional instructions to the directors of the educational institutions to create the necessary organization for the repair work to be carried out outside school hours.

The most frequently prescribed measures by RZI concern:

repairs of roof structures, sanitary facilities, replacement of windows, heating installations, lighting fixtures and repair works in gyms, etc.

In connection with the COVID-19 pandemic, the Ministry of Health reminds that at the moment all anti-epidemic measures laid down in Order No. RD-01-435/09.09.2022.
