President of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan left for Samarkand, Uzbekistan.
APA reports that Erdogan will participate in the summit of the heads of state of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) member countries, which will take place on September 15-16.
He will hold a number of meetings within the framework of the summit.
Erdogan is also expected to discuss the tension on the Azerbaijan-Armenia border with Russian President Vladimir Putin.
