According to the estimates of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR), a total of more than 7.2 million refugees arrived in Europe from Ukraine from February 24 to September 13, 2022.

More than 4 million of them are registered in these states within the framework of national protection and assistance programs.

According to APA's news with reference to TASS agency, this is stated in the information of UNHCR published on its website on Wednesday.

As noted in the department, as of September 13, 7 million 283 thousand 716 Ukrainian refugees went to European countries, including 2,593,209 to Russia, 1,379,470 to Poland, 1,003,029 to Germany, 431,462 to the Czech Republic, 431,462 to the Czech Republic, Turkey , 536, came to Italy and Turkey.

141,846 refugees came to Spain, 133,775 to Bulgaria, 122,900 to Great Britain, 101,369 to France.

According to UNHCR, 12,660,508 people have arrived in neighboring countries since February 24.

At the same time, from February 28 to September 13, 5 million 755 thousand 970 people crossed the border in the opposite direction.

According to the International Organization for Migration (IOM), more than 6.9 million people are internally displaced in Ukraine.
