Queen Elizabeth II will be cremated with state honors on September 19.

The body of Queen Elizabeth II reached Buckingham Palace in London on Tuesday.

The mortal remains of Britain's late Queen Elizabeth arrived in London from Scotland on Tuesday evening.

His body will be kept at Buckingham Palace for the last night.

The Queen's body will be kept overnight in Buckingham Palace's Bow Room, where members of the Royal Family will pay tribute to her.

A funeral procession will be held on Wednesday, under which the Queen's coffin will be taken from Buckingham Palace to Westminster Abbey (Parliament Complex). 

In fact, the body of the Queen will be kept at Westminster Hall for four days from Wednesday and she will be cremated on Monday.

The funeral procession will pass through some of the UK capital's most iconic landmarks, passing through Queen's Garden, The Mall, Horse Guards and Horse Guards Arch, Whitehall, Parliament Street, Parliament Square and New Palace Yard.

Queen Elizabeth II will be cremated with full state honors at Westminster Abbey on 19 September.

The Queen died last Thursday at the age of 96 at Balmoral Castle.

She was ruling Britain for 70 years.

When the body of the Queen was flown from Edinburgh Airport for London, the national anthem was played there.

The Queen's body was accompanied by her daughter Princess Anne, who had come from Edinburgh to London on a Royal Air Force (RAF) plane.

The plane from which the body of the Queen was brought has been used in the past for humanitarian aid.

The Queen's body was taken by road to Buckingham Palace in central London as soon as the plane landed at the RAF's Northhalt air base in west London.

Maharaja Charles III who was on a visit to Northern Ireland on Tuesday.

He had already reached the royal residence along with his wife Camilla to receive the body.
