The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, traveled today to Tirana where he held an unannounced meeting with the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama.

The Rama-Kurti meeting took place without the presence of the media, in the premises of Government Villa 30 in Tirana.

After the meeting, neither of the two prime ministers spoke to the media nor issued any communique.

Meanwhile, the media in Tirana have speculated about what may have been discussed in today's meeting, the spokesman of the Government of Kosovo, Përparim Kryeziu, told Telegraph what the purpose of the meeting was and what Kurti and Rama discussed.

He said that today Prime Minister Kurti held a working meeting with the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama.

"In this meeting, the two prime ministers talked about the issues of public, governmental and socio-economic policies in Kosovo and Albania, with special emphasis on the energy challenges and the exchange that KEK and KESh are doing", said Kryeziu, for the Telegraph.

Otherwise, Prime Minister Kurti left in the middle of the press conference after the meeting with the Strike Council, telling reporters that he has to go to an urgent meeting.
