The former head of KLA, Hashim Thaçi, was refused permission on Tuesday to appeal the preliminary judge's decision on the defense motion against the new indictment where it is claimed that the confirmed charges are flawed.

According to the ZPS, the judge of the preliminary procedure, Nicolas Guillou, has partially approved the defense motion of Hashim Thaçi, submitted to the amended indictment in the case where he, Kadri Veseli, Jakup Krasniq and Rexhep Selimi, are being accused of war crimes.

On April 29, the Office of the Specialized Prosecutor submitted an amended indictment against Hashim Thaçi, Kadri Veseli, Rexhep Selim and Jakup Krasniqi.

The prosecution is claiming that the four accused have also committed war crimes in Gjilan, Budakovo and Semetishte.

In the annex published regarding the crimes that allegedly took place in Semetishte and Budakovo, the prosecution has listed war crimes such as illegal or arbitrary arrest and detention, cruel or inhumane treatment, torture, murder.
