We have an analysis of how many schools in the country and kindergartens are heated with what kind of fuel.

We did this as a precaution back in August and until the beginning of September.

Estimates will be made within the Preschool and School Education Act and Institution Financing Ordinance, and after an analysis of the needs of each of the schools, these estimates will be made on how to provide attendance at school.

This was stated by the Acting Minister of Education and Science Sasho Penov

Prof. Dr. Sasho Penov is a Master of Laws from the Faculty of Law (FJ) of the University of Sofia "on presentation of a pilot project in the field of telemedicine and its introduction in schools in the capital's 55 SU "Petko Karavelov".

"Our aspiration is for maximum presence in schools - in connection with the Covid situation, and also with the situation with energy carriers.

I believe that solutions will be found so that the learning process is not interrupted due to poor health conditions in the school - to study at temperatures dangerous for children and teachers", he believes.

Regarding the problems of the electronic system in schools, the minister stated that, like any system that is introduced, it has its difficulties in its practical application.

"We are aware of the difficulties with some of the directors.

There is also an opinion that others organized themselves in the summer and did not reach such a workload - now there is a difficulty with excessive information pouring into the system", he added.

When asked about what will happen if, around the formation of a new government, schools find it difficult to heat and how they can be compensated in such a situation, the minister stated: "I am not the minister of finance."

He also mentioned that first it is looked at whether the school itself has reserves, and then appropriate measures are found to pay from the state budget.

On the occasion of whether the MES has reserves, the minister said that the budget procedure is related to the fact that first there is a central budget, then a primary authority, and then the other authorities with the budget.

"There are such possibilities, of course," he added.

Official Health Minister Asen Medjidiev

Dr. Asen Medzhidiev was born in 1968. He graduated in medicine from the Higher Medical Institute in, who was also present at the event, said that it was not discussed to reduce the minimum temperatures for heating in schools.

He also added that, compared to the measures that were taken until now, the measures are already very relaxed.
