Energy and energy stability in the region are expected to be the focus of talks between the prime ministers of North Macedonia and Greece, Dimitar Kovacevski and Kyriakos Mitsotakis, at their meeting today in Athens, AIM reports.

The government delegation from North Macedonia headed by the prime minister is today on a working visit to the Greek metropolis and will be received by the head of the Government of Greece.

"We always aim for the deepening of relations with our neighbors and with the Republic of North Macedonia under the precondition of respecting what has been achieved with the existing international agreements.

Energy is the biggest problem facing all the peoples of Europe.

Our country has helped regional countries in energy.

We are ready to see how this can be done with other countries as well.

We want to be the center of energy stability, energy security, and I assume that through tomorrow's discussion, ideas and ways will emerge that will further strengthen stability in the energy sector, more broadly in our region," Ikonomu told AIM.
