Varanasi Court has upheld the plea for daily worship at Shringar Gauri Temple in Gyanvapi Masjid complex, and has fixed September 22 for hearing.

Before this next date, the application of the Hindu side has been filed in the court, and on what points the Hindu side wants to hear from the court, this information was given to NDTV by the petitioners' lawyer Sudhir Tripathi.

Important information related to the case:

  • There is a demand from the Hindu side that the survey of

    Gyanvapi Masjid

    should be done again.

  • The Hindu side wants that the survey should be done by removing the wall between Nandi and Vazukhana in the new survey.

  • After the new survey, carbon dating of the alleged Shivling found in the Vazukhana should be done.

  • If the Muslim side goes to the

    Allahabad High Court

, then the Hindu side will also file a caveat.

  • The Hindu side will request the Allahabad High Court that no decision should be given without hearing them (Hindu side).
