Arvind Kejriwal targets BJP

Ahmedabad:

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal once again targeted the BJP on Tuesday.

He claimed that the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is losing ground in the upcoming Gujarat assembly elections and the Congress has been "wiped out" while the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) will win.

Kejriwal made this remark in response to a question asked by reporters on the BJP's allegation that AAP worker Medha Patkar entered Gujarat politics through a back door.

He said, "BJP is losing.

They can take the name of Medha Patkar or anyone else.

Tell them that the public wants to know what they have done in the last 27 years and what their plans are for the next five years.

It is noteworthy that AAP had given ticket to Patkar in the 2014 Lok Sabha elections.

The BJP has been accusing Patkar of harming the interests of the people of Gujarat by opposing the Narmada Dam project.

Kejriwal said, "I have heard that the BJP (Prime Minister Narendra) is making Sonia Gandhi its prime ministerial candidate after Modi ji.

Do I have the courage to ask questions?

I know you feel intimidated (about asking this question).

In the next press conference, ask him that Kejriwal has alleged that you are making Sonia Gandhi Modi's successor and prime ministerial candidate and what do you have to say about this?

,

The AAP leader said, "They know that they have not done anything in the last 27 years and they do not have any plan for the next five years.

I want to ask BJP why they protest when I say I want to give free electricity to the people of Gujarat?

Kejriwal said AAP will contest all 182 seats in the elections to the Gujarat Assembly in December.

He alleged that Gujarat does not have a proper Chief Minister and the state is being ruled from Delhi.

On the question of AAP's chief ministerial candidate, Kejriwal said, "Who made Vijay Rupani the chief minister?

Who made Bhupendra Patel the Chief Minister?

People did not make him the Chief Minister.

He was made the Chief Minister from Delhi (from the BJP leadership).

Our government will not run like this.

We will do what the six crore people of Gujarat say.

A Congress leader had alleged that the AAP government in Punjab did not have money to pay the salaries of the employees and the party was spending crores of rupees on advertisements in Gujarat.

To this, Kejriwal said "Congress is over" and journalists "should not pay heed to their questions".

The Gujarat Police had allegedly stopped Kejriwal from going to the auto rickshaw driver's house for dinner due to security reasons.

Kejriwal claimed that the move has nothing to do with security but is an attempt to stop him from going public.

"Nobody in the world has the courage to stop Kejriwal from going public," he said.

Before leaving for Delhi, Kejriwal asked the Gujarat Police not to do anything wrong on behalf of the BJP.

He tweeted, "My request to Gujarat Police, I support your grade pay and other issues.

We will definitely implement it once our government is formed.

We are with you.

There are two months left.

If BJP people ask you to do wrong, then refuse, don't be afraid.

BJP is going and Aam Aadmi Party is coming to power.
