All religions teach us to respect each other and the purpose of the yatra is to unite people irrespective of religion, community, language, etc.

Giving details of his itinerary for the next day, he said that he would pay homage to the famous social reformer Shree Narayan Guru here.

On Tuesday too, an enthusiastic crowd gathered for the yatra and amidst the intermittent rain, hundreds of Congress leaders and supporters were seen walking on the streets without umbrellas.

In a Facebook post, the Congress leader wrote, "Even though there are blisters in the feet, we have come out to connect the country, we are not going to stop," he wrote in a video clip related to this, referring to the lines of a poem in Hindi. also shared.

The journey started from Kanyapuram near Kazhakootam here at around 7.15 am.

During this, an enthusiastic crowd of people was seen like the last two days of the Kerala phase.

Under the 'Bharat Jodo' Yatra, a distance of 3,570 km will be covered from Kanyakumari to Kashmir in 150 days.

Congress General Secretary (Communications) Jairam Ramesh tweeted, "During the day's lunch break at Attingal, Rahul Gandhi listened to MGNREGA workers and people opposing K-Rail."

The journey, which resumed at 5 pm, ended here at Kallambalam junction.

It is noteworthy that the 150-day Pad Yatra started from Kanyakumari in Tamil Nadu on September 7 and will pass through 12 states and two union territories.

This yatra reached Kerala on the evening of 10 September.

Under this yatra, a distance of 450 km will be covered through seven districts in the state in a period of 19 days.

After this, this yatra will reach Karnataka on October 1.
