In several cases during the last few months, Kosovo's security institutions have arrested persons who are suspected of being involved in espionage and other activities related to security in the country.

The latest case is the arrest of two Serbian citizens.

Security experts are assessing that Kosovo should handle these cases with increased care.

Hidden under the cover of humanitarian activities, the Government of Kosovo announced that the two Serbs were damaging the image of the state, also inciting inter-ethnic hatred.

Under this reasoning, the Government banned them from entering Kosovo and immediately put them on the list of undesirables.

A few months after their arrest, they were convicted only of unauthorized border crossing.
