The Police Inspectorate of Kosovo respectively the investigators of the Department of Investigations of the PIK have recommended to the Kosovo Police the suspension of two police officers in Kllokot.

According to the press release, IPK has made it known that the first information about the case of Kllokot IPK has received through the Blue Line (toll-free phone number 080003333) regarding the suspicion that two police officers are involved as suspects in the criminal offense "abuse of official position or authority".

"A citizen had reported to the Blue Line that these two police officers did not take investigative actions against the suspects after his complaint (not including in his statement the threats he had received from a senior official of the municipality of Kllokot).

After verifying the information received by the complainant, in consultation with the Basic Prosecutor's Office in Gjilan, the IPK investigators are conducting investigations with the suspicion that the two police officers have committed the criminal offense of "misuse of official position or authority", the announcement states.

On the recommendation of the Police Inspectorate of Kosovo, the officials involved as suspects in this case have been suspended.

Otherwise, the IPK has announced that it has also recommended the suspension of another police official in Fushë Kosovë, since the same one is suspected of having committed the criminal offense of "Intimidation".
