India has declared a day of mourning for Britain's Queen Elizabeth II, with flags on all government buildings at half-mast, the Associated Press reported.
Official entertainment events were also canceled out of respect for the deceased, India's home ministry said.

Flags of the Indian Parliament were lowered to half-mast, the Presidential Palace, the Red Fort and other government offices in Delhi were lowered.
On Thursday, Prime Minister Narendra Modi described the late queen as a "remarkable figure of our time".
