North Korea's nuclear-tipped missiles will be fired automatically in the event of the assassination of the country's leader, Kim Jong Un, writes Politico.

This is indicated in the new Nuclear Policy Plan adopted by the country, the publication also reports.

The document states that in the event of a threat to the state's nuclear command and control system as a result of an attack by the adversary, a nuclear strike will be automatically and immediately launched to destroy its forces, including the starting point of the provocation and its leadership, it said Politico.
