The Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama announced today that Albania has again had cyber attacks from Iran.

This was announced by the Prime Minister of Albania, Edi Rama, who through a post on Twitter said that the cyber attack was registered last night on the TIMS system, reports Telegrafi.

Related to this, the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Albania announced that the experts of Albania, together with those of the partner countries, have worked intensively from the first moment when the attack was detected, to first guarantee the invulnerability of the data and then the neutralization of this criminal act.

Last evening, the data storage and transmission systems of the State Police were found under a cyber attack similar to the one suffered by e-Albania in July.

From the preliminary data, it appears that the attack was carried out by the same hand.

Our experts together with those of our partner countries have worked intensively since the first moment when the attack was detected, to first guarantee the invulnerability of the data and then the neutralization of this criminal act.

For safety reasons, our systems, including TIMS, have been temporarily closed until the risk is completely averted.

Very soon the TIMS system will be back to work.
