The Mayor of Presheva, Shqiprim Arifi, has commented on Kosovo's decision regarding the measure of reciprocity with Serbia regarding license plates.

He has published a photo on Facebook, while he is seen at the border covering the coat of arms of Serbia on the license plates of the car.

Arifi also recalled that Albanian students in the Presheva Valley are obliged to sing the Serbian anthem on the first day of school.

"Reciprocity with license plates is being implemented, meanwhile, Albanian students in the Presheva Valley, on the first day of school, are obliged to sing the national anthem of Serbia "Bože Pravde"!", wrote Arifi.

The mayor of Presheva announced on Wednesday that Albanian students in the Valley are legally obliged by the Serbian authorities to sing the Serbian anthem on the first day of school.

Arifi published a document that, according to him, reflects the decision on the obligation to sing the Serbian anthem "Boze Pravde" in Albanian schools in the Presheva Valley.

Prime Minister Albin Kurti also spoke about this case today, saying that this is a sign of the weakening of Serbia.

"It is not about any democratic and humane action.

On the contrary, the weaker Serbia is against Kosovo, the more it is getting wilder.

It is a kind of increased aggressiveness of Serbia.

It should be understood within its weakening in general.

Kosovo is an independent, sovereign and democratic state.

It is committed to all citizens without distinction, but also to Albanians in Serbia.

Albanians who are under Serbia are discriminated against.

We have passivation of addresses.

As the famous poet Esat Mekulli said, oppression breaks out of thin air.

This increased violence of Serbia, which is even done on the Serbs in Kosovo, is coming to an end.

As the state of Kosovo is increasingly democratic, stronger and more independent, it is proving this with its reciprocity towards Serbia", said Kurti.
