APA's Moscow correspondent reports that Maria Zakharova, the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry, said this at a briefing held today.

Zakharova said that Igor Khovayev, the special representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry for the normalization of Azerbaijan-Armenia relations, is on a visit to Baku these days.

According to him, the Russian diplomat went to Baku to discuss the prospects of concluding a peace agreement between Azerbaijan and Armenia: "In the near future, Khovayev plans to visit Yerevan for this purpose."

Maria Zakharova added that Russia attaches primary importance to the implementation of tripartite declarations.

"In general, the Russian side attaches primary importance to the implementation of Trilateral declarations signed at the highest level, including the opening of transport communications in the South Caucasus, the delimitation and demarcation of the Azerbaijan-Armenia border, and the strengthening of contacts between Baku and Yerevan through the lines of civil societies. Consecutively at all levels, Russia, Azerbaijan and "Let the agreements of the leaders of Armenia be fully implemented.
