The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, received the Minister of Defense of Switzerland, Viola Amherd, in a meeting today.

In the press release, it is said that Kurti also thanked him for the continuous assistance in the economic and democracy development programs, expressing his deep gratitude for Switzerland's contribution before, during and after the war, and after Kosovo's independence.

He emphasized that Kosovo and Switzerland share common values, with our exile in Switzerland, which are a bridge between our two countries.

"Beyond bilateral cooperation in the economy and the increase in trade volume, the prime minister emphasized the readiness of the Government of the Republic of Kosovo to expand cooperation in the field of defense as well.

Emphasizing that Kosovo is a success story of democratic development, he informed Minister Amherd about the economic and democratic progress of our country.

Minister Amherd said that Switzerland and Kosovo share common values.

During the meeting, they discussed the security situation in Kosovo, the role of KFOR, the political situation in the region, the importance of the Berlin Process, as well as the Brussels dialogue.
