The National Security Advisor at the White House, Jake Sullivan, held a telephone conversation with Prime Minister Edi Rama this Thursday.

 from the White House, it is known that Sullivan expressed the support of the United States after the cyber attack of Iran on July 15.

They committed to continue working together on Albania's remediation efforts and cyber security measures.

Among other things, Sullivan expressed appreciation for Albania's generous reception of Afghan citizens who fled Afghanistan, and the partnership between the two countries on regional and global issues, including NATO, was discussed.

Prime Minister Edi Rama requested a day ago that the diplomatic staff of the embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran leave Albania within 24 hours.
