US Secretary of State Anthony Blinken, who is visiting Kiev, will announce new foreign military financial aid worth $2 billion to Ukraine and 18 countries at risk of future Russian aggression.

APA reports that an unnamed official of the US State Department told Reuters about this.

According to him, the Biden administration has already informed Congress about the issue.

However, the source did not provide information on how much of the allocated funds will be directed to Ukraine.

Together with the most recently announced military aid package, US President Joseph Biden's total security assistance to Ukraine since January 2021 has reached $15.2 billion.

It should be noted that today the Biden administration announced another military aid package worth 675 million dollars to Ukraine.
