A 19-year-old teenager terrified the residents of the American city of Memphis after he discovered a random shooting from his car while he was driving it.

The young man roamed the streets of the city, shooting in different directions from his vehicle, killing at least four people and injuring three others.

The suspect crashed before being arrested by police in the Whitehaven area of ​​the city.

He is currently in custody, the Washington Post reported.

The detainee has been identified as Ezekiel Kelly and has a criminal record for other acts of violence.

He was released from prison earlier that year, serving 11 months of an initial sentence of 3 years.

Memphis police said Kelly live-streamed the crime on Facebook, which has since been removed from the social network.
