Nitish Kumar, during his Delhi tour, tried to unite the opposition leaders by meeting them.

Patna:

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar met many big opposition leaders on his four-day visit to Delhi recently.

Apart from Rahul Gandhi, he tried to unite the opposition by meeting Sharad Pawar, Arvind Kejriwal, Mulayam Singh Yadav, Om Prakash Chautala, Sitaram Yechury, D Raja and Dipankar Bhattacharya.

His initiative has been praised by all the leaders of the opposition.

At the same time, Shivanand Tiwari, the national vice president of RJD and an old aide of Nitish Kumar, has also said successful.

Shivanand Tiwari said that Nitish Kumar's first campaign was very successful.

The biggest thing is that Nitish Kumar met all the leaders without any hesitation.

All those leaders welcomed him with great warmth and supported his initiative.

It is not that an anti-BJP alliance has been formed in his first visit itself.

But it can become possible, its possibility is starting to appear.

He said that Nitish Kumar has emerged as a leader in Indian politics, with whom no one is averse to talking.

Nor does Nitish Kumar have any hesitation in meeting and talking to anyone.

The former MP said that there was no such person in anti-BJP politics, who could talk to everyone or everyone could share their views or their fears without hesitation.

Nitish Kumar's initiative has filled that void.

That's enough now.

Nitish Kumar deserves congratulations for this.

Significantly, after meeting the leaders, Nitish Kumar had said, "I will not be a leader.

I will only try to unite the opposition.

BJP is trying to capture the country.

If everyone fought the elections unitedly, the picture would be different.

We are talking to all the people."

"It will be a 'main front', not a third front," he said.

Describing his talks with the leaders of the opposition as positive, he said that the general elections 2024 will be very good, whereas till now it has been a one-sided contest.

To a question as to who will be the face of the opposition against PM Modi in election 2024, Nitish said, "You look at the work done by him (PM's). He has only done advertisements, changed names. Don't have much."

This campaign of Nitish Kumar has so far been successful in influencing the leaders of the opposition to an extent.

Earlier, despite the efforts of Sharad Pawar and Trinamool Congress chief Mamata Banerjee, the Congress, Arvind Kejriwal's Aam Aadmi Party, Mayawati's BSP and the Left had kept themselves apart in the matter due to state-level rivalry.

The Bihar CM said, "Both Pawar and I want to unite the opposition forces which are not with the BJP.

The leader of the coalition can be decided later.

It is important to come together first."

The Bihar Chief Minister also said that he will come to Delhi once again to meet Congress President Sonia Gandhi, who is on a foreign trip due to personal reasons.
