In the first seven months of this year, North Macedonia exported goods in the total value of 4,767,002,000 euros, which represents an increase of 19.3 percent compared to the same period of the previous year.

The value of imported goods, in the same period, is 6,912,713,000 euros, which is 26.9 percent more compared to the same period of the previous year, the State Statistics Agency announced today.

The trade deficit, in the period January-July of this year, reaches 2,145,711,000 euros.

Trade by product shows that the largest share of exports is carried by carriers of precious metals or products with their compounds, wire harnesses and similar products, for vehicles, aircraft or ships.

Petroleum oils and oils obtained from bituminous minerals, other metals, and electricity are the most represented in the import.

In the period January-July of this year, according to the total volume of foreign trade, we did more trade with Germany, Great Britain, Greece, Serbia and Bulgaria.
