The friendship, partnership and alliance between the Republic of Kosovo and the Republic of Slovenia were highlighted in the meeting between the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, and the President of Slovenia, Borut Pahor.

According to the announcement from the Prime Minister's office, in this meeting Kurti expressed his gratitude for the contribution of Slovenia before and after the war in Kosovo.

He reiterated that Slovenia is our valued partner as we share the same values ​​and views on peace and security in the region and beyond.

In this farewell meeting, President Pahor said that it is always an honor and a privilege to meet with the leaders of the beautiful state of Kosovo.

Although this is his last visit as the President of Slovenia, he said he hopes to visit Kosovo again as a friend of our country.

They talked about the European perspective of the region, the importance of the Berlin Process, as well as the progress of the talks in Brussels and the next steps towards the normalization of relations between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia.

Kosovo's commitment to membership in the European Union and NATO was emphasized.

Kurti emphasized Kosovo's readiness and commitment to contribute to NATO operations and projects.

He singled out membership in NATO's Partnership for Peace Program as a very important step, for which President Pahor confirmed Slovenia's support, the announcement states.
