America's big tech Apple company has been accused of "discriminatory acts".

This country has fined Apple $2.4 million for selling phones without a charger.

The UK has suspended the distribution of iPhones that do not come with a charger.

Apple will no longer be able to sell phones without a charger in Brazil.

Apple has been fined more than $2 million for this.

The government gave this information on Tuesday.

America's big tech company has been accused of "discriminatory acts".

In an official notice, the Brazilian authorities have ordered that the sale of iPhone brand smartphones without battery chargers, regardless of model, be stopped immediately. 

Brazil's Ministry of Justice and Public Security has fined the California-based company Apple about 2.4 million.

The Department of Consumer Protection and Defense has banned the sale of all iPhone 12 and 13 models.

On Apple in Brazil, "under investigation for unfinished product sales".

At the same time, he is also accused of passing the responsibility on the third party.  

"The company has been fined in the past by Brazilian agencies but they have made no effort to cover the damage and are still selling phones without chargers," a release said.

According to Brazilian officials, "Apple complains that the decision to remove the iPhone's charger is due to a "commitment to the environment". 


But the Brazilian ministry said that "the iPhone's decision on the environmental protection of the Brazilian soil and land has no effective demonstration. And there is no justified argument that it will reduce carbon emissions."
