Emphasis on early disease awareness

so that the control of the disease to calm quickly

2. Strictly control the movement of cattle-buffaloes.

3. Control of disease-carrying insects

with the use of insecticides on both the animal and the animal husbandry area

4.Treat sick animals according to the symptoms and stage of illness of cattle-buffaloes.

Because there is no drug to treat and 5. Conduct vaccinations for cattle - buffalo farmers. In 2021, the Department of Livestock Development has imported 5,360,000 doses of vaccines from abroad and 700,000 doses have been donated by the private sector.

For fiscal year 2022, the Department of Livestock Development has purchased an additional 6,300,000 doses of vaccination for cattle that have been previously vaccinated.

and injected to animals that have not been vaccinated before

especially in newborn animals.

To provide animals with herd immunity against Lumpy Skin disease, reduce the spread of disease.

as well as making Thailand free from such diseases.

This is because disease control requires that cattle be vaccinated continuously for at least 3 years in accordance with World Animal Health Organization (WOAH) guidelines.
