Kuldeep Ahlawat said, "I believe that Rishi Sunak could not become the Prime Minister but he fought a very good fight. It is a matter of great pride for the Indian community that he reached the second place. Somebody should take this campaign forward. Will go. Rishi Sunak has not lost by a huge margin. I think he will definitely become the Prime Minister of Britain in the coming time."

At the same time, Sajjan Singh, who has been working as an entrepreneur and educationist in Britain for 10 years, said that Rishi Sunak has opened a new path for the coming generation.

He said, "I congratulate Rishi Sunak for fighting for the post of Prime Minister of Britain. He has opened the way for the next generation to come. There is hope in the Indian community that Rishi Sunak or someone else will come forward in the times to come. Another person of Indian origin can become the Prime Minister of Britain.

Sajjan Singh arrived in UK in 2012

Describing the specialty of British society, Sajjan Singh said, "Britain society is going to accept everyone. There is such a strong democracy here that even a small mistake of Kovid rules led even the Prime Minister to resign. India can also learn from this." "

Vivek doesn't see much difference between Liz Truss and Boris Johnson

At the same time, Vivek, who lives in Reading in South-East England, is deeply saddened by Rishi Sunak not being able to become the Prime Minister of Britain.

He says, “I think Rishi was more qualified and committed for the position, he has also worked on the ground. I think there is a lot more in Liz Truss and Boris Johnson. There is no difference. I think Rishi Sunak could have handled areas like inflation, global issues with more ease than Liz Truss. And could give voice to the general public."

On the other hand, Bhumi Deswal, a student of Politics, Philosophy and Economics at King's College, London, says, "I am sure that many people in India wanted to see Rishi Sunak become the Prime Minister. Rishi Sunak's election campaign started very loudly. But many of his policies may not have been liked by some people.

Further Bhumi Deswal says, "If Rishi Sunak had become the Prime Minister of Britain, it would have been historic but it did not make much difference to the people of the Indian community. But still Indians should be proud of this time that he has elected to the post of Prime Minister. Fought the fight and accepted his defeat with respect. He has also said that he will give full support to Liz Truss to the best of his ability.

Pankaj Tiwari, who lives in London, expected Rishi Sunak to win

On the other hand, Pankaj Tiwari, who lives in London, said that he was disappointed with the British election results but they testify to Britain's progress from colonial times.

He said, "I was hoping that Rishi Sunak would win. I am disappointed with the results. Rishi is a man of principles. He gave a better direction to the UK economy during the time of Kovid. The relations between them would have improved further. I think the results of these elections have taken Britain ahead of its colonial period because Rishi got 42.6% of the Conservative vote."

Comparing Britain to America, Pankaj says, "I think Britain is not yet ready for its "Obama moment" like America. Rishi may have contested elections a generation ahead of time. Maybe years to come May it be possible that a person of Indian origin becomes the Prime Minister of Britain."
