The Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, has said that they support the interest of Germany and France to help in the Kosovo-Serbia dialogue process for the agreement that is based on mutual recognition, we support the fact that two such important European states and recognition of our Republic from the beginning, they will help mediate

Prime Minister Kurti made these comments after the ceremony marking the 23rd anniversary of the Kosovo Police.

"Kosovo understands the importance of European integration, at the heart of which Germany and France are located for the Western Balkans in general, and for us in particular.

Therefore, we support the fact that two such important European states, which have recognized our Republic since the beginning, will help mediate Brussels for a legally binding agreement centered on mutual recognition," he said.

The head of government also spoke about the full respect of the document agreement between Kosovo and Serbia, reports Ko.

He said that at the border points between Kosovo and Serbia, reciprocity applies, but freedom of movement must be complete freedom of movement, implying the recognition of Kosovo's documents even at the borders of Serbia with other countries.

He said that Deputy Prime Minister Bislimi has also addressed this with the mediators of the dialogue.

"Reciprocity between Kosovo and Serbia is valid at the border points.

We have insisted on freedom of movement and it would mean full freedom of movement, as truncated freedom is not freedom.

The deputy prime minister is also addressing this with the mediators.

For the border points between Kosovo and Serbia, it is definitely valid.

Except I understand that we cannot have truncated or partial freedom of movement", he added.

Otherwise, the German chancellor, Olaf Scholz, and the French president, Emmanuel Macron, announced on Saturday that they have engaged their advisors to support the dialogue for the normalization of relations between Kosovo and Serbia.
