A delegation headed by Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski will today stay on a one-day working visit in Sofia regarding the energy crisis.

The visit to the work of Kovacevski and the delegation from the departments of economy and energy, as informed by the press service of the government, is to deal with the consequences of the world energy crisis.

Kovačevski goes to Sofia from Belgrade, where he led the government delegation to the First International Wine Fair "The Vision of Open Balkan Wine at the Belgrade Fair" within the framework of the Summit of the Open Balkan initiative, where cooperation was announced with the aim of ensuring quantities sufficient electricity for the business and citizens of the region.

The Bulgarian Minister of Foreign Affairs, Nikolaj Millkov, yesterday declared that they are seriously preparing for Prime Minister Kovacevski's visit to Bulgaria.

As reported by AIM, Millkov in an interview for BNR assessed that the relations between Bulgaria and North Macedonia have many dimensions, they are multifaceted and cannot be measured with the issues of electricity supply from Bulgaria to the Republic of North Macedonia.

"It is expected that a wide range of issues will be discussed and visible steps taken to resolve all issues.

The issues will be considered in their mutual dependence", said Milkov and added that when a prime minister from a neighboring country comes, all questions that would be of interest to both countries should be asked.

JSC Elektranat e North Macedonia (EMV) yesterday informed that they will be involved in the realization of the agreed projects to deal with the energy crisis which will emerge from the Open Balkans initiative and from other forms of cooperation between the countries of the region. , whose direct implementation in the energy sector will have to flow through JSC EMV.
