The Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, said that from North Mitrovica, where she is visiting, she wants to convey messages of peace, stability and tolerance.

She said that the authorities from Serbia, including President Aleksandar Vučić, will always be with the Serbian community in Kosovo and added that she is happy to be in Kosovo "at such a difficult moment".

"I am happy that even after the last provocations, on July 31, we managed to keep the peace.

The interest of the Republic of Serbia and the Serbian people is peace and stability", said Bërnabiq.

The Prime Minister of Serbia added that her country will continue to fight for the Serbian people, so that the improvement of living conditions can be seen on the ground.

She emphasized that now is the time to form the Association of municipalities with a Serbian majority in Kosovo and said that she will repeat this wherever she goes - from Mitrovica to Brussels and Beijing.

"We will continue to insist on this every day", said Bërnabiq.

Bërnabiq arrived on Monday morning in North Mitrovica, where he was received by representatives of the Serbian List - the largest political entity of the Kosovo Serbs - as well as by representatives of the institutions that work in the Serbian system.

Previously, employees of the institutions financed by the Serbian state budget were also gathered.

They were holding placards with words of support, such as: "As long as we have [Serbian President Aleksandar] Vucic and our Anna, we are not afraid of anything."

This is Bërnabiqi's first visit to Kosovo since she was elected head of the Serbian Government in 2017.

During her one-day stay, she will visit the municipalities in the north of Kosovo - North Mitrovica, Zveçan and Leposaviq - where the majority population is Serbian.
