Nitish Kumar said that in the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the opposition parties should come together and fight the elections.

A two-day meeting of the National Council of Janata Dal United was held in Patna, the capital of Bihar.

Sunday was the second and last day of the meeting.

About 250 delegates, including Chief Minister Nitish Kumar and JDU national president Lalan Singh, attended the meeting held in the Karpuri auditorium of the state office.

In the meeting, it was agreed to formulate a strategy for the 2024 Lok Sabha elections and unite the opposition.

After the meeting, Nitish Kumar said that if we fight together, we will win.

Nitish Kumar said after the meeting of his party's National Council that our aim is that all the regional parties unite and fight the elections together.

If this happens then success will definitely come.

"If all regional equities come together and contest elections together, we will get success. But there are no numbers as was reported in the media," he said.

Chief Minister Nitish Kumar also told about his Delhi tour starting from Monday.

He said that seven parties are together in the government in Bihar, out of which the leader of four parties will be met in Delhi.

Along with this, will meet many other big leaders of the opposition.

He said that he will also meet President Draupadi Murmu and Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar. 

On the other hand, JDU national president Rajiv Ranjan Singh alias Lalan Singh alleged that Union Home Minister Amit Shah is coming to Bihar later this month to disturb communal harmony.

He said that BJP started with two and now it will come back to two.

Lalan Singh also claimed that next time in 2024, we will win 40 out of 40 seats in Bihar.


Lalan Singh said that in the last election, BJP got 38 percent votes from across the country, while 62 percent of the people of the country have cast their votes in their opposition.

He said that if this 62 percent party comes together, then the support figure will increase to 75 percent.
