On the third day of the Open Balkans for the member states Serbia, North Macedonia and Albania, which will be held in Belgrade from September 1 to 4, the Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Bärnabić, is scheduled to distribute the "Open Balkan Summer Trophy" in within the framework of the First International Wine Fair, wine "Balkan Open Wine Vision at the Belgrade Fair", announces AIM.

During the duration of the Fair, the wines were evaluated by a jury consisting of 25 international judges, five of whom were "masters of wine".

More than 350 exhibitors from 39 countries participate in the fair, of which 160 are exhibitors from Serbia, 26 from Albania and 47 from North Macedonia and the countries of the region but also from the whole world, South and North America and Central Europe.

The political part of the Open Balkans Summit was held yesterday, in which alongside the Serbian President, Aleksandër Vučić and the Prime Minister of North Macedonia, Dimitar Kovacevski and of Albania, Edi Rama, the Prime Minister of Montenegro, Dritan Abazović, the President of the Council of Ministers of Bosnia and Herzegovina, Zoran Tegetlia and the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of Hungary and Turkey, Peter Siarto and Mevlut Çaushoglu.

Vučić yesterday congratulated North Macedonia and Albania on the start of negotiations with the EU, in which Serbia has helped to achieve that goal, and expressed hope that the BH Initiative will further contribute to economic strengthening and connectivity, let's talk in the region together with one voice when it comes to key issues.

Meanwhile, Prime Minister Dimitar Kovacevski at the opening of the Leaders' Summit emphasized that "today it is more than clear that the Republic of North Macedonia, Albania and Serbia have taken the right step at a crucial moment with the Open Balkans initiative".

Agreements on food security mechanisms in the Western Balkans were signed at the Summit between the Ministers of Agriculture of the new countries.

At the press conference after the Summit, the three leaders said that "a difficult winter awaits us, but for this we have signed several agreements to spend it together".
