British Prime Minister Boris Johnson

Boris Johnson is a British politician - born on 19 June 1964 in New York. His paternal great-grandfather, who will soon leave office, will take legal action against a parliamentary committee investigation into illegal parties at 10 Downing Street, DPA reported.

The main question in this inquiry is whether Johnson misled Parliament by telling MPs that there were no illegal parties involving members of the government.

A legal opinion on the case is expected to be published by eminent jurist Lord David Panick, who is a member of the House of Lords of the British Parliament.

Q. The Daily Mail reported, citing a senior source, that Lord Panick's opinion would be based on the argument that if the commission made a decision that had anything to do with the intentions, the inner world of Prime Minister Johnson, it would be a threat of democracy.

The opinion is expected to say that if the committee fails to prove convincingly that Johnson deliberately misled MPs, it could lead to self-censorship by future prime ministers who would be put in a position to fear that he might they could tell a lie.
