Serbian President Aleksandar Vučić congratulated Albania and North Macedonia for opening negotiations with the European Union.

In his speech at the conference of the Open Balkans Summit in Belgrade, Vucic said that Serbia has contributed as much as possible to the progress of opening negotiations for the two countries.

So he was optimistic about the achievements and common goals of the countries that have become part of the Open Balkans initiative.

Vucic emphasized that Albania, Serbia and North Macedonia have the best relations that the countries have ever had in history.

"This meeting is the first after the opening of negotiations between Albania and Macedonia and I want to congratulate them, I believe that Serbia helped as much as it could and we hope to continue contributing.

Give us the opportunity to speak with one voice in the region.
