The mayor of Presheva, Albaniam Arifi, has reacted after the confirmation by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora in Kosovo that he has given permission to the Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, to visit the North of Kosovo on Monday.

On this occasion, Arifi called on the Prime Minister of Kosovo, Albin Kurti, for a two-day visit to the Albanians of the Presheva Valley.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kosovo has confirmed the visit of the prime minister of Serbia to Kosovo.

Thus, on September 5, Mrs. Brnabić travels to meet the Serbian community in the north of Kosovo.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs has confirmed for the Telegraph on Friday that it has given permission to Brnabiqi for this visit, based on the agreement reached between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia for the mutual visits of political representatives.

"The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Diaspora in the Government of the Republic of Kosovo has responded positively to the request of the Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, to visit Kosovo on September 5, 2022".

"The granting of the visit permit is based on the agreement regarding the mutual visits of political representatives between the Republic of Kosovo and Serbia", it was said in the response of this ministry.

reports , Brnabić and the director of the so-called Office for Kosovo in the Government of Serbia, Petar Petković, will stay in Mitrovica, Zveçan and Leposavic.

The visit is said to begin on Monday morning, where Brnabiq will visit the multimedia center and the Spiritual Academy in Mitrovica, after which he plans to visit the Banjska monastery in the municipality of Zveçan.

In the municipality of Leposavic, she will visit the family of the Radosavljevic brothers, who will settle in the new house built with funds from the Government of Serbia.

Brnabiq will end his visit to the municipality of Leposaviq with a tour of family farms.

"The visit of the Prime Minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabić, to Kosovo aims to convey messages for the maintenance of peace and stability, within which the only way to achieve this is the stay and survival of the Serbs in Kosovo", the statement says.
