Irada Ibrahimova, press secretary of the Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources, informed about this.

It was reported that in order to put out the fire that started on August 30 in the municipal territory of Keyvandi and Shabiyan villages of Ismayilli district, the employees of all local bodies of ETSN and the State Fire Protection Service of MES were mobilized to the area.

The fire has already been extinguished and prevented from spreading to the forest.

The official of the Ministry also said that the fire that broke out yesterday in the mountainous area near the village of Chukhurazami in Shabran region was contained by about 50 employees of local bodies of ETSN and fire protection forces of the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications.

Currently, cooling works are being carried out in the area.
