The deputy of the German Bundestag, once also the chairman of the Committee for Foreign Policy, Michael Roth, at today's press conference in Skopje, said that the country should continue its commitment to negotiations for EU membership.

Roth said that the political leaders should commit themselves to making the constitutional changes, with which the Bulgarians, together with the Montenegrins and the Croats, will be included in the Constitution of North Macedonia, informs Tv21.

"I hope that now in the Assembly of North Macedonia preconditions will be created so that the commitment to accession negotiations can continue.

I know that it is not easy for many when it comes to these constitutional changes, but everyone should ask the question: Not how can I help my party, but how can I help them and contribute to my country" , Roth said among other things.

During his one-day stay in Skopje, Roth also had meetings with some of the political figures in the country on his agenda.
